This beer has a strong full flavor. I would describe it, but I have a cold.

This is a great beer. It has a very nutty taste and the higher ABV of 9% doesn’t come off too strong in the taste.

The color is very rich.

I could drink this regularly.

We are traveling just east of Afton, Iowa and we pasted over the Thompson river, which is almost frozen.

Katie Beth is sleeping. Karen is reading “The Main Corpse” by Daine Mott Davidson. I’m blogging.

Katie Beth and I are still sick. My head feels like it could pop.  Relief needs to come soon or I could be jumping from the train.

As we wait, we wait in comfort at the Wynkoop Brewing Company in the pool room up stairs. (Beautiful!)

We are running Katie Beth to tire her out.

We are driving to the station with the Hertz driver. Everyone is tired and ready for home.

Yea!

We are finally heading home.  We left Huntsville on November 15th and we will be back finally on December 10th.

Tomorrow, we board our train in Denver to start rolling towards Chicago.

With all of our traveling, we got to experience Halloween and Thanksgiving in Colorado Springs.

This is the stuff I have been working on lately as reported by the Associated Press.

Karen made a snowman on our deck with the snow we got today. The snow was very dry so it took a lot of work to make the balls. Yes, those are vegetables for the hair, eyes, nose, and mouth. Greenbeans, corn and carrots are easy to work with if you use a baby fork to poke holes in the snow first.

Katie Beth had great fun with the snowman, but she kept wanting to step on Karen’s snow balls.

I tried to teach Katie Beth how to make snow-angels. Karen captured it on video, which looks funny. Karen is editing the video now so I hope to get something on the web site.

It is a nice bock that is a little overly sweet.  The brewmaster released this beer just last week.  I have primarily been drinking this beer while in the hotel, which Judge Baldwin Brewery is associated.

I had this particular beer during the Manager’s social on Wednesdays.

Work is going well, but we are already talking about extending our stay through the 12th. I doubt that our trip will be extended, but you never know.

The weather is great today with the high getting into the 60′s. I hope to get out of work early so I can enjoy the weather.
