We are back from our trip to the Gulf of Mexico. We visited my mom’s family including her Uncle Williams, her Aunt Dorothy, her sister Ann Cowley, her sister’s children, and her brother Tommy Alonzo. We had a great time. Katie Beth got to see a real beach for the first time.

I will be posting photos and video soon, but I have to recover our web site first, which crashed just before the trip.

Our next trip is only a couple weeks away. Walt Disney World here we come!

Everyone had fun visiting tonight.

My Uncle Alfred made gumbo today for tonight’s dinner. Everyone is coming over again tonight.

(It was been wonderful spending time with everyone and having them take time to visit with us.)

My Aunt Ann and Uncle Alfred have been wonderful host having us stay in their home.

We had fun feeding the ducks and geese. Katie Beth didn’t think much of the baby ducks. But, she did like eating the bread herself.

We are heading to the Fairhope beach area on Mobile Bay.

We all had a great time telling stories while eating our veggie pizzas. Katie Beth had fun with everyone. My Uncle Tommy, in the picture, came up with Ann to join us for dinner and games.

We played Apple to Apples and we all had fun laughing at the cards people were playing.

Katie Beth had a blast at the beach. We dug in the sand and ran into the surf. She ate sand and maybe some sea water.

She loved the hole I dug deep in the sand. She wanted inside the hole, but she didn’t like us pushing the sand back onto her. It was okay for her push the sand onto herself.

Katie Beth slept on the drive to Gulf Shores, Alabama. We are getting lunch. Karen is changing Katie Beth into beach ware while we wait on our food order.

Karen ordered Grouper and I order Royal Reds. Katie Beth will be sharing.

Oh, Katie Beth has started to say “cheese” when we want her to smile for a picture.

We have all had breakfast and we are enjoying the morning.

We are still deciding our plans for the day, but it will include water I’m sure. Aunt Ann and Uncle Alfred have suggested the Fairhope dock area, which was a lot to see.

Later tonight, my Uncle Tommy will join us for dinner.

Katie Beth, Karen, and I arrived at my aunt and uncle’s home in Fairhope, Alabama.

Little Alfred and Ashley were at Aunt Ann’s house. Tracey and Renyolds joined us and we all had dinner tonight. Everyone had a great time.

Tomorrow, we will go the beach and play in the sand and sun.
