The Nook has a Facebook page. If you become a fan of The Nook, you will get updates about what is going on at The Nook.

You can comment, post pictures, and even suggest beers. I think you can even review The Nook.

Katie Beth saying hello to Homer as we walked into the game. She just loves it here at the games.

The weather is great, too.

This is very mellow beer, but I like it. It is not going to make you run for another, but it is nice.

And, it is from Greece so that is cool.

Hmm. This beer has a big rich malty flavor. The smooth mouth feel is nice.

And, it is hitting the spot especially given the yucky start of the week.

This is Firehouse Brewing Co.’s hefeweizen. It is a very mild flavored beer with a lot of carbonation. The aromas are weak as well, which would normally be stronger.

I could have over chilled the beer.

We spent most of the weekend swimming. Katie Beth had a blast. I get a kick out of watching her play in the water.

Over the next few weeks, we are going to have to get serious about her swimming skills, because she has lost many of her abilities from last summer. Last summer, she held her breath when asked to do so. Now, she will laugh her way into the deep water and keep laughing as she goes under.

I hope to get her in the pool during the week when there are fewer people (less children) to distract her. We need to work on her holding her breath and floating. We will start with floating and rolling over in the water.

Hmmmm! This is one of my favorite dopplebocks. And hey, you get a cute goat to take home that you can see on the left side of the bottle.

The maltiness is just perfect. The smell is rich with coffee and malt tones.

It has a very nice month feel. I could drink this beer every day, but I would have quit my day job.
