Katie Beth is almost the same color as the shark. It is cool for July, 77 degrees.

But, she is still saying that she is not cold!

Hmmm!

We picked about 1/2 a quart so we could be having blackberry waffles for breakfast.

Katie Beth has her two year checkup today. She will be getting a booster shot so she may not be a happy camper later today.

We are looking forward to getting her offical heigth and weight. Her weight gain has slowed down. But, she still stands taller or as tall as all the three years olds at the pool.

Karen is having a wonderful ½ birthday today. She was surprised by the ½ birthday card. (Hallmark has every occasion.) Karen loves her ½ birthday hat. Katie Beth loves the balloons.

After eating a piece of the ½ cake, we headed to the playground to have fun.

Katie Beth is learning a lot about parties.

Having a great time at the bear party. But, we are pushing deep into naptime.

I am hanging at The Nook with my brother. He just got into town and he will be here for a few days.

Okay, it is not the most becoming picture of my brother.

Grilling is a wonderful thing to do with family and friends.

Today, we kicked back and grilled chicken. Katie Beth loves to help with the grilling. We started with brining the chicken the day before grilling.

Katie Beth gets the ingredients and pours them into the container. I have to regulate the pouring to some extent otherwise she would pour until the container emptied.

She likes to help with the grilling, but she thinks we should touch and check the chicken too much.

We had a great 4th of July. Family time at the pool was wonderful and
the baseball game was even more fun.

Katie Beth had a blast at the game. We got walk around the ball park.
Katie Beth did super for not really having a nap.

Allison and Steve Tofflemire’s party was a hoot. They always go over
the top with everthing they do. This party was no different.
