This is the first time that I have had this that I can remember.

Hercules Double IPA has a rich strong hop flavor with good malt backbone. I am not a big fan of IPA or Double IPA for the matter, but this beer is very good for the style. Many Double IPAs have either too much maltiness over powering the hops or the hops slap you in the face with too little malt flavor. This beer strikes a good balance.

This is Karen’s first Abt 12, which is the highest rated beer in Alabama.

Karen was not impressed.

Karen is drinking the Gonzo while I’m drinking the Southern Pecan.

Karen liked the Gonzo and it will go well with a steak for dinner, which we are having tonight.

We are getting together for one last get together before Hope and her children leave for home.

We have enjoyed their stay.
