Half Way to St. Patrick's Day PartyKatie Beth is decked out in Meg Leach’s cool green wig from the Huntsville Stars’ Half Way to St. Patrick’s Day Party.

The Den is having a blast. The beers going for $2 isn’t hurting either.

Huntsville Stars' Andy Machado's BatAndy has been very nice to Katie Beth tonight.

He gave Katie Beth a baseball at the start of the game.

And then, Andy Machado gave Katie Beth a bat. What a guy!

We have a Andy Machado baseball card so now we have to get Andy to sign all of them for us.

Katie Beth and Chuck We have been away for over a month, but we got to come home to a Huntsville Star’s double header. Karen is still recovering from being sick. So, I took Katie Beth to the game.

Beside getting see all of our baseball friends, Katie Beth got to visit with Chuckie between games. She had Chuckie sign one of her baseballs. Chuckie lend over and gave Katie Beth a big hug. Chuckie asked where she had been for so long, because he had missed hearing her in the crowd. (Katie Beth loves to shouting “Go Chuckie” when Chuckie comes up to bat.) Chuckie asked Katie Beth when she is going to throw out another first pitch.

We had the pleasure of hearing Joe Price sing the National Anthem at the Huntsville Stars. He even stopped and chatted with Katie Beth and I about his trip. It was fun to learn about his trip. He enjoyed seeing Katie Beth in her Brewers cheerleading dress.

What a fun trip to make cross the county!

The weather is a little too humid, but we are having fun.

We had a bi-plane buzz the field for awhile during the game.

Lo Cain's Number One FanLo Cain's Number One Fan (Lorenzo Cain)
Katie Beth is such a fan of Lorenzo Cain (Lo Cain) of the Brewers and a former Huntsville Stars player. Steve and Allison Tofflemire surprised Katie Beth tonight with her very own Lo Cain shirt. This is a one of kind shirt that Allison and Steve had made. Lo Cain is the nickname that the players called Lorenzo Cain in Huntsville. The Huntsville fans started calling him this and it stuck, but the major league fans don’t really know him by this nickname.

Tonight, we all gathered to watch the second game of the world series and Allison and Steve couldn’t resist the opportunity to give Katie Beth this wonderful gift. Karen and I didn’t even know about the gift.

Even before going over to their home, Katie Beth was assuming that we would be seeing Lo Cain playing baseball so she started chanting, “Go Lo Cain!”

Thanks, Allison and Steve.
